Harare, October 23, 2025 – The Zimbabwe Free Range Poultry Association (ZFRPA) yesterday celebrated its 10th Anniversary in the capital, Harare, under the theme “10 Years of Growing Together: Innovation, Inclusion and Impact.”
The milestone event was graced by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Fisheries and Rural Development, Professor Obert Jiri, who was the Guest of Honour.

The celebration attracted a diverse audience, including Members of Parliament, Ambassadors, Award winners, schools, farmers, and exhibitors from across the country.
A vibrant poultry exhibition ran on the sidelines of the main event, showcasing products, innovations, and services within the free-range poultry value chain.
The day began with plenary discussions, during which attendees shared knowledge and experiences aimed at enhancing productivity and sustainability in poultry farming.

After lunch, attention turned to the awards ceremony, where ZFRPA recognised and honoured pioneers of free-range poultry commercialisation in Zimbabwe for their dedication and contribution to the sector’s growth over the past decade.

The celebrations reflected the Association’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming a key player in promoting inclusive and innovative poultry farming across Zimbabwe.
